106 Degrees is Nothing When You Are Having Fun
Since Derek fared well at the CAC Water Park we thought, why not go ahead and give Six Flags a shot. We arrived at the park and decided to try the Carousel at the entrance. I was skeptical at first. In the past, the only way Derek would ride is if he rode in your lap on the horse. Since the ride operator would not allow this we left to try another ride...the Six Flags Classic, El Sombrero. I was a bit uneasy after the carousel incident and Derek did not want to sit down in the seat. Lucky for me he was short enough that no one noticed prior to the ride starting. Once we were in motion he sat down and held on for dear life. He was not scared but the look on his face was priceless. Next were the Tea Cups and then we played in the misters for a bit and had lunch. After we had cooled down we were off to the Boots and Antique Cars. The cars were the hands down favorite for everyone I think. We planned to ride the train and hit Looney Tunes Land after that but Derek climbed into his stroller (something he had vehemently refused up to this point), had a drink and promptly fell asleep. Not a bad trip. We are definitely going to go again.
