CEO for A Day

The hubby and I took an impromptu trip to the riverhouse this past weekend and got a special treat. Uncle Al took us up in one of his planes. Cliff notes version: We flew from Canyon City to Bandera to visit his friend and then took a quick flight over to Fredricksburg to have lunch in a cute 50s style diner that is at the local airport. Apparently lots of local pilots fly in just for lunch so outside it's a parking lot of small planes. haha I have always been tempted to get my pilots license. It's such an amzing feeling. Both Jason and I got a quick flying lesson from Uncle Al and got a fantastic view of the Hill country.

For those who have been to the riverhouse and have shared the joy of the rope swing, here is an interesting site. Guess you could say the river is a bit high. That's the swing floating in the water by the way.
